Congratulations to the Lancaster County 4-H Club winners at the PA 4-H Junior Horse Championship Show held virtually this summer! Members submitted videos to be judged for each class online through Flipgrid. Classes were placed first through sixth with awards after judging.

On Wednesday, June 2nd, Lancaster County 4-H and The Rotary Club of Lancaster partnered to host the 54th Annual 4-H Strawberry Roundup and Auction. Leah Brenneman of Manheim was awarded Grand Champion for her strawberries, which were sold to Andy Fletcher for $750. Reserve Champion Gabrielle Anger sold her strawberries for $375 to Tom Baum. The proceeds from the strawberry auction go to the 4-H growers and the Max Smith Scholarship Fund.

On Wednesday, August 11th, Lancaster County 4-H hosted Presentation and Talent Night at the Farm and Home Center. There were seven entries in either the Talent, Verbal, or Visual Division who performed or presented to an audience of friends, family members, and Lancaster County 4-H employees.

The 4-H Round Up was held at the West Lampeter Fair Grounds July 29-31. Congratulations to all the winners!

Wow! The generosity within our community is so amazing! It has been another record-breaking year for the 4-H auction with over $24,700 raised for our Lancaster County 4-H Program! Additionally, 48 pounds of potatoes, 48 pounds of apples and 65 dozen eggs were bought and donated to the Water Street Rescue Mission. We can't thank our 4-H community enough for your kindness - the donors, buyers, auctioneers, and volunteers. It is a pleasure working together in this incredible 4-H community.

Congratulations to the Lancaster Livestock Judging Senior Team who competed at the Penn State Block and Bridle Judging Contest on March 19-20, 2022!

Congratulation to the Senior Judging Team for being named Champion Senior Team at the MC Livestock Stockman's Challenge in Harrisonburg VA on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

The Jr. and Sr. Livestock Judging Teams had a fantastic day at the Delaware Valley University's Livestock Judging and Stockman's Contest on April 30, 2022.

The Lancaster County Skillaton Team competed May 7, 2022 at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.

It was a great day for our annual 4-H Strawberry Roundup hosted by the Rotary Club of Lancaster on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

The PA 4-H Livestock Judging Team competed at the Keystone International Livestock Expo in Harrisburg, PA on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Congratulations to our4-H Dairy Bowl Team for taking 2nd place at the National 4-H Dairy Bowl Contest!

We are excited to host our Annual 4-H Benefit Auction at the Farm and Home Center, Lancaster, on February 18, 2023, and donations are needed.

Congratulations to the PA State 4-H Judging Team for competing at the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest on November 15th, 2022. The team placed 14th overall and 10th team in sheep.

The Penn State Extension Lancaster County, Red Rose 4-H Beef Club members participated in a community service project over the past year allowing them to take care of the environment and give back to the community.

Thank you for supporting our annual 4-H Benefit Auction! The auction as a great success, raising over $25,300 in support of Lancaster County 4-H programs.
