Cocalico 4-H offers a sewing class for youth 8-18. The classes teach the fundamentals of sewing while incorporating decision making, goal setting and a lot of fun!
- Intermediate - Knits, Coordinates, Time Savings
- Advanced - Tailoring, Separates, Formal wear
1st year - Beginning sewers learn about fabric, how to read a pattern and make a draft dodger and a pillow case.
2nd year - Make a tote bag and beginning clothing such as a simple skirt or top.
3rd year - Start into clothing with dresses and outfit design.
Having fun - Outside of classes there is a fashion review, field trips and end of year party.
Meeting location is in the Denver area.
