Each member is expected to attend the Solanco Community Club monthly meetings, as well as, their individual project meetings.

Monthly meetings are run by the Club Officers and are held the second Monday of each month, March through August. The registration meeting is at the Solanco High School Cafeteria.

These meetings not only keep the members informed of upcoming events and opportunities offered by the Penn State Extension, but offer a wonderful learning experience. The meetings are run using Roberts Rules of Order, all children are completely involved in the decision making process, choosing activities offered by the club, guest speaker appearances, field trips, fundraisers, as well as, service projects and donations made.

Project meetings are scheduled by their individual leaders. Once a child is enrolled in a particular project, the leader will contact the member with a class schedule and materials list. Please remember, these leaders are all volunteers who are freely giving of their time to teach you a skill. Show these individuals how much you appreciate their service by attending your meetings, arriving prepared and always being on your best behavior.

The 4-H experience opens a world of opportunities in developing leadership skills and strengthening your community through service, all while enabling children to express their creativity while learning skills in a variety of expertise. All interested individuals 8 to 18, as of January 1st, are encouraged to enroll. Registration is held each March at the monthly meeting.
