The following is your club's schedule of events for 2024
Monday, March 18 Farm and Home Center – training room 7:00 p.m.
- Program: 4-H Opportunities, Record Book and Parent Meeting, Lamb Selection
Saturday, April 20 Longenecker workshop – Lampeter Fair Grounds 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Show Clinic -sheep/goat edition
- Must preregister by April 10th
Monday, May 20 Farm and Home Center – training room 7:00 p.m.
- Lamb skillathon
Monday, July 15 Deadline to enter sheep in the County Round-Up
Thursday, July 25 4-H Round Up Sheep Show – West Lampeter Fairgrounds
- Selection of County Champions!
- Schedule: Weigh-in 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
- Show – 9:00 a.m. breeding, market, showmanship
All members who participate in both the show clinic & round-up will have their names placed in a raffle to win a lamb stand. The winner will be chosen at the conclusion of the Lamb Show
Tuesday, October 8 Manheim Farm Show – Sausage Stand Fundraiser
- Please volunteer to work in the food stand!

RULES FOR LANCASTER COUNTY 4-H WOOLIES CLUB
- 4-H members must attend 3 meetings which may include a round-up as a meeting in order to join the Woolies Club in 2025
- 4-H members must own a market lamb project by June 1st.
- 4-H members should own market lambs by October 5 for the PA Farm Show competition to allow for tagging before the October 15 deadline.
- 4-H members must own breeding projects by July 10 to show at the County 4-H Round-Up. Members can show a total of 6 sheep, with no more than 4 being market lambs.
- All 4-H members are required to submit a completed project record book to their leader at the October Meeting except PA Farm Show exhibitors who will submit their project books immediately following the Farm Show. (Penalty will result in loss of premiums and/or awards.)
- 4-H members must exhibit at least one market lamb project animal at the County 4-H Round Up to be eligible to exhibit at the Pa. Farm Show.
- All Sheep for the exhibition must be tagged with official scrapie identification tags. Scrapie tags must be on health papers, not farm tags.
