Milk Duds 2023 4-H Dairy Schedule

The 4-H Dairy leadership team has made plans for your upcoming 4-H year. We ask that you bring your project book to each meeting. We will try to start club meetings at 7:00 p.m.in an effort to avoid late nights for the members.

Saturday, May 13th - PSU Dairy Bowl Contest

  • Open to 4-H Members - ages 10 to 18; $15 per person fee
  • Registration is in zSuite

May 19-21 - 4-H Animal Science Camp - Penn State University

  • Open to 4-H Members - ages 13 to 18; $125 Fee (Total cost of $250 -other $125 paid by Lanc. Co. Program)
  • This is a state-wide opportunity with three different weekend-long tracks with an intense, hands-on science focus for equine, dairy and livestock 4-H members. Transportation is on your own. Possible car-pooling may be arranged.

Tuesday, June 13th through June 15th - Oregon Dairy Farm

  • Family Farms Days Club Presentations at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day.

Tuesday, June 20th - PSU Dairy Judging Contest

Lancaster County 4-H Dairy Round-up & Holstein Show - Solanco Fairgrounds
Entry information will be distributed in May

  • July 1 - County Show entries & Sponsorships Due
  • July 17 - Set Up at 6:00 p.m.
  • July 18-19 - Holstein Association Show, 4-H Show, Showmanship Contest, etc.

September 16th-PA State Junior Dairy Show

Monday, November 6th - 7:00 p.m. Lancaster DHIA, 1592 Old Line Road, Manheim

  • Project Books Due! - Project books will be checked and reviewed and may be sent back for revisions. If you will not be attending the meeting, please make sure you get your book to a leader by December 1st!
