Postdoctoral Position - Temple University

Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Position in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (CEE) and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) at Temple University in Philadelphia.

The CEE and EES departments are looking for a postdoc in the area of urban hydrology with a focus on computational modeling from the scale of individual stormwater management practices (SMPs) to the subcatchent and watershed scale .  The successful candidate will work with engineers and geoscientists to characterize urban streams and SMP performance using computational modeling tools such as SWMM, as well as collect and analyse field data (hydrologic, geochemical and/or physical).  

The postdoc will also help supervise graduate and undergraduate research assistants and contribute to proposal writing.   In addition, attending meetings and interfacing with watershed organizations about project planning is expected.  Results of the work will be reported to sponsors, collaborators, and other scientists through presentations, reports, and peer reviewed journals.
