Pronking Pacas 4-H Club

Pronking Pacas 4-H Club visited Apollo at Head Over Hooves Farm and his trainer Jason for their camel training day!

Apollo is a 2 year old dromedary camel. He weighs about 800-900 pounds now. When he reaches maturity he should be about 1800. Once full-grown, the top of his hump should be around 7 to 8 feet high. They do not sheer camels as they malt. He was super sweet and curious. He is learning to do obstacles and commands. Our 4-H members learned so much today!
