Bucks County 4-H Ambassadors are the spokesyouth of the program and are tasked with recruiting and promoting the 4-H program across the county. The 4-H Ambassadors program was created to help build confidence, self-esteem, and self-expression in our youth.

The Bucks County 4-H Ambassador program promotes leadership and communication skills among members. As the spokespeople for 4-H, Ambassadors recruit new members and promote the benefits of joining Bucks County 4-H. The program has grown in popularity each year, with increasing numbers of youth applying to become Ambassadors.

Selection Process:

  • The application for the 4-H Ambassador positions is part of the online awards portal that goes out at the beginning of summer.
  • Current Bucks County 4-H members have the chance to apply to be an Ambassador for the following year.
  • Members are able to apply multiple years

Ambassador Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of a 4-H Ambassador is to promote the 4-H program to others, including potential new members, parents, and community leaders. This may involve attending events, giving presentations, and participating in community service projects.
