The 2022 Senior Clover Award recognizes a youth member ages 16-18 who has gone above and beyond in their 4-H career.

This individual has been a member of Bucks County 4-H for ten years and in those years, he has been an outstanding member, teen leader, and 4-H Ambassador. As a member of Scales N Tails, Horsin Around, and Teen Council he has gone above and beyond in his clubs serving in numerous officer roles over the years.

He is an incredibly motivated individual. We have never seen him back away from a challenge and he always attempts to give his best. Over the years he has tried new things in 4-H like raising a hog, attending Camp Abenaqua, and various short courses. And even in those quick projects, he has given them everything he’s got.

He strives to make everyone at his club meetings feel welcomed and included. His talent to motivate and inspire others, and his ability to take charge and make decisions in difficult situations makes him truly deserving of this recognition. His peers and their parents have complimented him countless times for being the encouraging factor in their involvement in 4-H.

His positive impact on others and his willingness to go above and beyond to support his fellow members are some of the many qualities that make him an outstanding 4-H member. He has been a prime example of a rock star 4-Her and because of that, it is our honor to present Nicholas DeLeo with the 2022 Senior Clover Award.
