Bucks County 4-H Friend of 4-H Award

On October 24th, Bucks County 4-H gathered at Peace Valley Park to celebrate its members, volunteers, and community supporters. One of the awards given out was the Friend of 4-H Award. This award goes to a person or organization that has given back tremendously to the Bucks County 4-H program for many years.

This year Bucks County 4-H recognized the Bucks County Master Gardener Program for their service to 4-H. In their recognition speech they stated "The Bucks County Master Gardeners are always willing to offer a hand with a 4-H program, whether it is teaching a day camp in the summer, being an interview judge for achievement night or round-up, or teaching an outreach program. When the call goes out looking for volunteers, they flood our inboxes with offers of help. They love listening to the 4-H members describe their projects and learn about the passions of our members. It is our honor to recognize the Bucks County Master Gardener Program for their dedication to the Buck County 4-H program."
