Bucks County 4-H Dairy Club Competes in Judging Contest

The Bucks County 4-H Dairy Club members had the opportunity to participate in a dairy judging contest along with fellow 4-H members from New Jersey.

The Harris family hosted the event at their farm in Perkasie, PA. We judged 4 classes: Holstein Sr 2 Yr, Jersey Jr 3 Yr, Holstein 4 Yr, and Red and White Aged Cows. Jimmy Harris, dairy judge and farm operator, then sat with us, listened to our reasonings for our placings, and explained to us his own placings.

Congrats to Emma, Lily, Ava, Logan, Brynn, Raegan, and Ally!
