The Penn State Extension Master Gardener Program values youth agriculture education across the state and is committed to delivering continued horticulture knowledge to all youth in our Pennsylvania communities.
"WE ARE" Growing Gardeners!
With the onset of the pandemic more youth and adults found themselves working and learning at home. As a result, backyard gardens, community gardens and outdoor parks provided and continue to provide a place to relieve stress, exercise and an opportunity to discover more about plants, insects and the environment we live in.
Master Gardeners and coordinators from across the state volunteered their time and talent to collaborate and create short videos to reinforce the lesson topics by creating fun and engaging content for different youth learning styles.
