Penn State Extension Master Gardeners are University trained, knowledgeable volunteers who offer presentations on a wide range of horticultural subjects and environmental issues to garden clubs, municipal groups, and community organizations.
These programs educate County residents about safe, effective, and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities.
The talks are generally 45 minutes to 1 hour long and often include digital images, because of this a screen or blank wall is necessary. Topics can be tailored to meet the needs of your group.
The Speakers' Bureau program is county specific. Each county has a unique list of topics and suggested fees, however, county programs will work with organizations if the fee is a hardship. Contact the Master Gardener Program in your county for additional details.
