The Master Gardeners of Washington County currently lead two community-focused initiatives: Seed to Supper, promoting food gardening and access, and Poison Prevention Education, teaching safe pest management and chemical safety to first-grade students.
Seed to Supper is a free beginning gardening program offered in Washington County through a partnership between Penn State Extension Master Gardeners and local organizations. The program equips adults with limited resources with the knowledge and skills to grow fresh, healthy food on a budget—while building stronger community connections.
