The Master Gardeners of Washington County currently lead two community-focused initiatives: Seed to Supper, promoting food gardening and access, and Poison Prevention Education, teaching safe pest management and chemical safety to first-grade students.
Seed to Supper is a free gardening program in Washington County that helps adults with limited resources grow fresh, healthy food on a budget. Offered by Penn State Extension Master Gardeners and partners, it fosters community connections and practical garden skills.
