Thermochemical Performance of Regionally Important Feedstocks
This project is working to characterize the performance of regionally significant feedstocks when torrefied, and model the impact of the process on the regional bioenergy supply chain, both in terms of its use as a solid fuel, and its potential as a biorefinery feedstock. Primary feedstocks of interest are switchgrass, miscanthus, and willow. Contact Dr. Daniel Ciolkosz
