The agricultural safety and health program at Penn State is multi-dimensional and ranges in scope from engineering to reduce exposure to hazards, to safety training for youth, to managing agricultural emergencies.

Faculty research includes development of engineering, innovative training programs, and organizational compliance practices to assist individuals and organizations in understanding and prevention of injury while working in production agricultural and biorenewable industries.
