Master Gardener Basic Training classes are now tentatively scheduled to be held beginning around October 1, 2021. Because of COVID concerns, basic training classes were canceled in 2020.

During these challenging times, the primary concern of Penn State Extension is to protect the health and safety of its staff, volunteers, and members of the community with whom Extension interacts in its outreach programs and events.

At this point, the tentative plan is to hold Master Gardener Basic Training in Adams and Franklin Counties beginning around October 1, 2021, with in-person classes that offer the high-quality instruction and interactive learning experience you expect from Penn State Extension. This may change, depending on the pandemic situation in 2021.
