The Penn State Master Gardeners of Franklin County will host their annual plant sale on May 17th. This free event will feature a variety of unique plants, educational activities, and exhibits from community organizations.

When: Saturday, May 17th, 2025, 9 AM - 1 PM, Rain or Shine

Where: Franklin County Human Services Building. 425 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA.

This event is free to the public.

Franklin Master Gardeners will be providing interactive education throughout the day. Garden Hotline volunteers will be available to answer all your plant and gardening questions.

Visit with these Community Organizations at the event:

  • Franklin County Beekeepers Association
  • Franklin County 4-H
  • Conococheague Audubon Society

Tour the Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens next to the plant sale location. The gardens include the Pollinator Friendly Garden, Herb Garden, Perennial Garden, Drought-Tolerant Garden, Victory Garden, Woodland Native Habitat Garden, and the Historical Gass Garden. 

We are always adding new plants to our inventory. This year's sale features:

  • Native plants
  • Pollinator plants
  • Annual and Perennial Flowers
  • Herbs
  • Heirloom Tomatoes
  • Vegetables
  • Woody plants

Soil Test Kits and Horse Manure will be available for purchase. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted. Proceeds support Master Gardener educational outreach activities in Franklin County.
