Our premier youth outreach event concerning issues of pollinator awareness and education, as well as other issues of environmental stewardship.

Held at the Snetsinger Butterfly Garden, This Master Gardener planned and hosted public event in late July includes demonstrations and displays, an observation hive, photography exhibit, children's games and activities, all developed to showcase Pollinator Friendly Gardening and its impact on preserving and protecting biodiversity.

Nearly 400 people attended the 2nd annual Wings in the Park event in 2012 which featured a pollinator parade, a habitat scavenger hunt, and many other educational stations. Monarch tagging sessions were held in September. More than 150 people came out to learn about tagging monarch butterflies during their fall migration.
