The Bellefonte Children’s Garden is a garden designed especially for children located at the Bellefonte Historical Library.

The Bellefonte Children's Garden was started in 2007, a joint effort between the Bellefonte Community, the Bellefonte Library, the Bellefonte Garden Club, and Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Centre County. Designed for children to enjoy, the garden features many fun features such as a giant caterpillar tunnel/arbor that children can crawl through, a fairy garden, and an herb garden. Children can also learn about growing plants, as the garden contains many beautiful perennials, annuals, bulbs, and vegetables.

Penn State Extension Master Gardeners helped create a delightful Butterfly Garden at the Children's Garden. The Butterfly Garden contains "host plants" for caterpillars, and nectar plants for butterflies. Master Gardeners also help with monthly Saturday morning children's activities at the garden during the spring and summer months.
