A summary of the annual Educational Plant Sale hosted by the Master Gardeners
The 2024 Master Gardener Plant Sale
For over 20 years, the volunteers of the Penn State Extension Master Gardener program of Butler County have hosted a plant sale to educate our community about plants while raising money to support the outreach mission.
2025 Plant Sale:
When:
- Friday, May 16, 2025 from 2 PM to 6 PM
- Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10 AM to 4 PM
Where: Butler Farm Showgrounds
The Master Gardener Plant Sale will feature a wide variety of native plants, perennials, herbs, and vegetable plants. The sale will include opportunities to purchase gardening-themed apparel, gloves, garden décor, and more! Master Gardeners will help you select the best plants for your gardens and landscapes. They will answer your questions about best gardening practices and hot topics such as the Spotted Lanternfly infestation. Children are also invited to participate!
