Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Butler County spend their volunteer time working on a variety of gardening education projects and demonstration gardens.
Master Gardener educational gardens can be found throughout Butler County including Cranberry Township, Saxonburg, Butler and Slippery Rock. There is a Native Plant and Butterfly Trail at Moraine State Park and the grounds surround the Penn State Extension Office are graced by Master Gardener plantings.

The Native Butterfly Trails of Moraine State Park are located in the McDanel Boat Launch area of the park.
