Located at 243 South Main Street in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, the historic Passavant House transports visitors to the town's founding in the 1800s. The historic herb and vegetable gardens, brought to life by volunteers of the Penn State Extension Master Gardener program of Butler County, use reflections from Zelie Passavant's personal correspondence to recreate history. Garden visitors can learn the historic uses for herbs and see heirloom varieties of tomatoes ripen.
