The gardens demonstrate the creative use of space in urban areas through maximizing function, multi-use spaces, and containers.

The Courtyard

The Courtyard of the Butler Area Public Library comes alive in the spring with crocus bulbs smiling at visitors, demonstrating the use of grass spaces to provide pollinators with early season food sources.

The Courtyard is also home to our children's garden space, themed in 2023 as a Pizza Garden
