The Montgomery County 4-H Bee Club is open to all youth ages 8 - 18 (as of Jan. 1st of the current year)

The Montgomery County 4-H Beekeeping Club meets once a month from February to September. Our motto is "Sweet as honey, Busy as bees." The club has two beehives behind the 4-H Center and members have a chance to do hands-on beekeeping if they don't have their own hives.

The Bee Club has lots of fun activities including cooking with honey, building equipment and the ever popular candy bee anatomy. The club maintains a pollinator garden at the center behind the gym.

Every year the Bee Club has a tent at the Farm, Home & Youth Fair and talks to the public about these fascinating creatures.

Please contact our office at 610-489-4315 for leader contact information and our office staff will put you in touch with the club leader. The club leader will let you know when the next meeting is being held and give you more detailed information on club activities and events. When you attend the meeting and make the decision to join the club, the club leader will have all the necessary information for you to join 4-H.
