The 2022 Chester County 4-H Fair had a strong start as 200 tabletop projects were submitted and judged as part of the project Round-Up on August 8th.

The 4-H members exhibited projects that included sewing and baking, woodworking, photography, small engines, plants, fruits and vegetables, expressive arts, leadership logs, club officer's books, and more.

A few of the top winners were Julianna Johnson and Megan Johnson for their pillowcase, and Nidhi Suchindra for an organizer she sewed.  Ethan Magee's wood box with dovetail corners won him Grand Champion recognition.  Olivia and Owen Prince took home top honors for their woodworking projects that including a record of their project and custom wooden shelves.  Olivia Prince's poster on goat hoof infections won a Grand Champion recognition in the Dairy Goat Posters.  David Gober won several blue ribbons, and a Grand Champion for his horse activity books, and his performance horse records.  Marin Greiner and Maria Kopec of the Creative Cooks Club had judge's favorite baked goods.  This year a horseshoe decorating contest was added for fun and Jazz Sapp's horseshoe was a judge and fan favorite.
