Chester County Clubs
The 4-H program based in Chester County offers a broad variety of interest areas with hands-on projects including companion animals, dairy, equine, food and nutrition, livestock, robotics – to name a few.
Additionally, the Pennsylvania 4-H program offers more than 100 4-H projects that can be made available through the local Penn State Extension Office. If there is a project not currently offered through an active club, youth can complete an independent study with their family, or even start a new club with the assistance of a parent or other interested adult.
Community clubs draw youth living nearby. Members choose the projects they work on. Members of a community club participate in monthly club meetings as well as meeting with their project leaders to work on various projects.
Project clubs meet once a month on a yearly schedule. Their focus is a single project.
4-H projects may be offered at your school through 4-H school enrichment or afterschool in partnership with our collaborating programs.
