Judge Jane Bailey with Melissa Johnson
Twenty-nine goat projects were exhibited with 18 4-H youth participants. This year the show was divided into four breed classes - Toggenburg, Alpine, Oberhasli, and Mini Nubian dairy goats. A separate market goat show was held earlier in the week.
Judge Jane Bailey of Marydel, MD did an excellent job in placing the animals and providing the youth instruction to improve their skills.
In the Toggenburg breed, Ella Wingrave's Yearling, Pond View Springs LMR Brandy, was the Junior Champion and the Grand Champion. Julianna Johnson's kid, Betty's Acres D Saphire, was Reserve Champion.

AHF Sage, a 5-12 month-old kid shown by Evelyn Bove, was the Reserve Champion and also the Junior Champion. Reith Bros. Farm's Miszippy Queen, shown by Maiya Fitzpatrick, was the Reserve Senior Champion, and Rudbeckia, a dry yearling shown by Olivia Prince, was the Reserve Junior Champion.
