This month the 2020 Pennsylvania 4-H State Council had the opportunity to present a Parliamentary Procedure workshop to Tioga 4-H County Council. This workshop was a great success that allowed 4-H'ers to increase their knowledge and become even better at parliamentary procedure. State Council President, Jillian Ranko, had the opportunity to speak at the Ag and Youth Advisory Board meeting this month to highlight what the State Council has been doing lately. The State Council has finally announced the state wide service project, which is writing 5,000 thank you cards to first responders. The State Council encourages all Pennsylvania 4-H'ers to participate and to learn more about the project and report card submissions by visiting our website, or visit the Pennsylvania 4-H Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram page.

Jillian Ranko - Butler County, President

This month, Jillian along with the rest of State Council, gave a presentation to the Tioga 4-H County Council via Zoom. Jillian also had the opportunity to speak at the Ag and Youth Advisory Board meeting to share what 4-H has been doing lately and she highlights the virtual opportunities being offered to 4-H'ers. Jillian's personal accomplishment this month was officially graduating from high school! Virtual schooling has allowed Jillian to bake more, along with having more free time. The new contact that Jillian made this month was with her Client Relation Manager for area one, Craig Conforti.

Audrey Ferrie - Warren County, Vice President of Operations

This month Audrey along with the rest of State Council gave a presentation to the Tioga 4-H County Council via Zoom. Audrey's personal accomplishment was wrapping up her freshman year of college, while balancing State Council duties and her job. She has also continued to adapt virtually and become more tech-savvy during these difficult times. Audrey was able to make contact with her 4-H Client Relationship Manager for Warren County, Robert Dickenson. Finally, she was contacted by her Warren County educator Jennifer Grooms to present Pennsylvania 4-H opportunities at an upcoming Hold Your Horses Webinar offered for Warren County horse 4-Hers.

Amanda Hollabaugh - Adams County, Vice President of Events

Amanda attended the online workshops, Stress Less and Thinking Trap, hosted by the National 4-H Healthy Living Summit Team from Maine. Along with fellow Council members, Amanda presented the Parliamentary Procedure workshop to the Tioga County Council. Amanda's personal accomplishments were making a lot of new contacts and making a decision to attend Susquehanna University. Also, Amanda made a contact with her Client Relations Manager, Ms. Scherer.

Sydney Brown - Erie County, Vice President of Internal Affairs

Sydney, along with the fellow Council members, presented a Parliamentary Procedure workshop to the Tioga 4-H County Council. A personal accomplishment for Sydney was completing her first year of college! Sydney and the rest of the State Council each made contact with their area's client relations manager to work towards reaching their communities further.

Laurie Enders - Armstrong County, Secretary

Laurie, along with the fellow Council members, presented a Parliamentary Procedure workshop to the Tioga 4-H County Council. She also had the opportunity to volunteer 21 hours at her old elementary school by helping to pack breakfasts and lunches to be distributed to students. During the pandemic, Laurie has grown an interest in embroidery and has just finished her first project! Laurie and the rest of the State Council each made contact with their area's client relations manager to work towards reaching their communities further.

Alyssa Neff - Dauphin County, Reporter/Historian

This month Alyssa, along with fellow Council members, presented the Parliamentary Procedure workshop for Tioga County Council. Alyssa's personal accomplishment this month was finishing finals for her college and high school classes. Alyssa also finished a crochet blanket that she had been working on for a while. Alyssa and the rest of the State Council each made contact with their area's client relations manager to work towards reaching their communities further.
