Pennsylvania 4-H is committed to addressing challenges to improve STEM literacy, to engage youth seeking STEM education and to introduce agricultural careers in STEM fields. STEM subjects help us get good jobs but also help us grasp what it means to be human and to live a good life.
4-H Innovation Projects combine engineering and math skills to teach youth to build, design, problem solve, and construct while learning to measure, formulate, quantify, and compute.
4-H Science projects allow youth to observe, identify, describe, and experience in a hands-on learning environment with age-appropriate activities designed to help youth learn about life.
4-H Technology projects allow youth to advance, progress, create, and achieve while learning 21st century skills. 4-H technology projects help youth grow into roles of advisers, content experts, and coaches.
