November is for networking! See who we've been able to connect with and more in this month's Council reports.

State Council presents an Open House to County Commissioners.
This month State Council had an exciting opportunity to engage with County Commissioners through an open house via Zoom. During the open house, Council shared with commissioners a presentation all about the Pennsylvania 4-H program. Through this event, Council was able to make connections that will be helpful in future 4-H activities and opportunities down the road. Council is continuing to stay strong and positive with virtual format of 4-H continuing. The Council is especially preparing during this time for an exciting State Leadership Conference which will have many exciting new activities in store. Finally, Council encourages all who have not yet, to check out the first episode of Grow Connections with Pennsylvania 4-H hosted by State Council, or even better, share it at a club meeting! Council hopes this talk show expands your knowledge of the opportunities and experiences 4-H can provide.
Jillian Rank- Butler County, President
This month Jillian presented with Audrey, Amanda, and Laurie at the Pennsylvania 4-H Open House with County Commissioners. Jillian also attended the Fall 4-H Educator's Meeting on behalf of the Council. Jillian has been challenging herself to get the best grades that she possibly can, as well as pushing herself to excel at many different extracurriculars. Jillian was able to make contact with her county commissioners Leslie Osche, Kevin Boozel, and Kim Geyer.
Audrey Ferrie- Warren County, Vice President of Operations
This month Audrey presented with Jillian, Amanda, and Laurie at the Pennsylvania 4-H Open House with County Commissioners. Additionally, Audrey presented this month to McKean County Extension Council, Warren County Extension Council, Cameron County Extension Council, Potter County Extension Council, and was the keynote speaker at her 4-H Award Ceremony. A personal accomplishment for Audrey this month was being asked to be the keynote speaker at her last 4-H Achievement Night Ceremony. It has been a goal of hers to leave a positive impact on the Warren County 4-H program and it was an honor for her to be asked to speak at this event.
Amanda Hollabaugh- Adams County, Vice President of Events
This month Amanda presented with Jillian, Audrey, and Laurie at the Pennsylvania 4-H Open House with County Commissioners. Amanda and Sydney were able to present at the Engineering Design Challenge on October 31st as well. Also, Amanda attended a Capital Days Input Session with State Staff, an Expressive Arts Workshop for the Fall 4-H Educator Meeting, and the Fall Educator Awards. Her accomplishments for this month are getting approved to complete the Diamond Clover Award Project. Also, she has almost completed a full semester of college. Amanda has made contacts with Representative Torren Ecker, County Commissioner Martin, Commissioner Qually, Commissioner Phiel, Commissioner Wheeler, Commissioner Hoke, Commissioner Smith, and Commissioner Reber.
Sydney Brown- Erie County, Vice President of Internal Affairs
This month, Sydney spent time catching up with college classes, and she is excited to be almost done with the semester. Another exciting accomplishment for Sydney this month was selling her first show calf to a 4-H'er. Sydney is excited to keep helping and giving back to 4-H'ers as she prepares to age out of the program.
Laurie Enders- Armstrong County, Secretary
This month Laurie presented with Jillian, Amanda, and Audrey at the Pennsylvania 4-H Open House with County Commissioners. A personal accomplishment for Laurie this month was good grades on her college courses. Laurie was able to make contacts with her county commissioners and those of other counties at the Pennsylvania 4-H Open House.
Alyssa Neff- Dauphin County, Reporter & Historian
Alyssa was able to help with the State Council's service project by writing thank you cards to first responders. A personal accomplishment for Alyssa was receiving a reply from the letter she sent to President Donald Trump, which was a goal of hers. Another accomplishment was her high school volleyball team making it to the district semifinals and placing fourth. Finally, Alyssa was able to make contact with Emma Hill, an Illinois 4-H Alumni, and Luke Read, a Texas 4-H'er.
