Northampton 4-H Members Gaining Horsemanship Skills

Northampton County 4-H members are active in putting their horsemanship skills to the test! They are active in the Horsemanship Skills Program and moving up through the levels.

During the month of May, Northampton County horse club members completed Level 1 of the Horsemanship Skills Testing. Abby and "Georgie," Londyn and "Sage," Riley and "Roy," and Rowan and "Tessa." Rowan and "Tessa" also completed Level 2 of their Horsemanship Skills Testing. These members worked extremely hard with their horses. The Horsemanship Skills Program provides a planned progression of skill development to promote safety, education, and life skills of youth. Members are tested on each of these progressing skills. This takes a lot of dedication and effort - great job!
