The Northampton County 4-H Swine Club is for all ages (8-18) who want to learn about hogs. We focus on raising the best hog to take to market. While doing that we learn about breeding, nutrition, housing, showing,and meat identification. Some of our members live on a farms, most do not. The club meets monthly, but the actual animal project runs May- August, completing at the Northampton County 4-H Livestock Sale in late August at Blue Valley Farm Show.
