The State Conservation Commission (SCC or Commission) is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Brubaker as the new Regional Coordinator Supervisor of the Nutrient Management Program in the Harrisburg SCC office.

Mike came to the Commission in 2005 serving as the Southeast Regional Coordinator in the Nutrient Management Program, along with various other SCC related programs and duties.

Prior to working for the Commission, Mike Brubaker worked as a Nutrient Management Technician for the Dauphin County Conservation District from 1992 to 2005.  Mike has spent his whole life living and working on his family's crop and livestock farm. Mike graduated in 1989 from Penn State University with a BS degree in Agricultural Education, with an emphasis on livestock production.

Mike will serve many roles as the Regional Coordinator Supervisor with the primary focus being on supervising the 5 NM Regional Coordinators, overseeing all non-delegated Nutrient Management Plans, and serving as the liaison to the Nutrient Management Advisory Board.
