The Penn State Nutrient Management Education Program (NMEP) is excited to announce that Dr. Kathleen Arrington has joined our team.
Although Kathleen's main role will be to work closely with Don Orner to develop and maintain spreadsheet planning tools of the NMEP, her talents will be utilized in several other roles that support program education, outreach, and research goals.
Kathleen has Soil Science PhD and MS degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as a BS degree in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State. Her experience in applied soil science research provides a deep understanding of nutrient management that is combined with advanced computer programming skills. Kathleen has served as an educator including delivering outreach presentations, training undergraduate students in the field and laboratory, and writing extension publications.
Kathleen will maintain an office at Penn State's University Park campus. She can be contacted at kea106@psu.edu.
