Our South Park Learning Garden won second place in a statewide search for excellence among PA's Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens.
Award was recieved at the PA Master Gardener State Conference in Erie, PA
The Master Gardeners brought home an award for their beautiful Learning Garden situated on the site with South Park Theatre. The design has been several years in the works and takes into consideration all aspects of use, audience, environment, etc. Doug Oster had an opportunity to meet the garden chairpersons Joan Kugler and Marilyn Germansky in this garden in this clip:
