The Potter County 4-H Program would like to recognize Lucas Risser, Emmett Long, Silas Batterson, Alexis Risser, Mark Long, Patience Batterson, and their coach Thankful Batterson for competing at the annual Potato Grading and Identification Contest at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. Youth from nineteen counties participated in the contest, focusing on the identification of defects and grades of various potato types. Each of the six participating members got the chance to work as a team and grow in their confidence about potatoes. They all did an amazing job, and we would like to congratulate them on their hard work!
