Potter County Clubs

Ten active traditional clubs throughout the county focus on various project areas throughout the year, including shooting sports, animal science, healthy living, and more. Youth in Potter can also participate in 4-H through our camping programs, summer clinics and workshops, and school programming. 

Clubs

Allegheny Archers

Open to youth ages 8-18 as of January 1st, this club is designed for members with an interest in archery. The club meets once a month at the Genesee Rod and Gun Club. 

Bullseye Blasters

Open to youth ages 8-18 as of January 1st, this club is designed for members with an interest in archery. The club meets weekly at the Gunzburger Gymnasium in Coudersport between the months of October-April. 

Eleven Mile Livestock

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. Many club member projects focus on animal science, including dairy, swine, and beef. The club meets monthly in the Millport area. 

Famous Wabbits

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. Many club member projects focus on animal science, including dairy, poultry, rabbits, sheep, and goats. The club meets monthly at the Northern Potter High School. 

Growing Country Clovers

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. Club member projects include horsemanship, gardening, and dairy. The club meets monthly in the Genesee area. 

Kountry Kids

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. Many club member projects focus on animal science, including beef, goats, and rabbits. The club meets monthly in the Coudersport area. 

Potter County Teen Council

Open to youth ages 13-18 as of January 1st, this club is designed to provide senior 4-H members leadership opportunities within the county program. Member opportunities include professional development, youth mentorship, community service, and county event planning. The club meets monthly at the Potter County Extension Office. 

Potter Show Animals

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. Many club member projects focus on animal science, including horsemanship, goats, rabbits, and dairy. The club meets monthly at the Shinglehouse Methodist Church.

Seedsowers

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. Club member projects include photography, biking, woodworking, finance, and animal science. The club meets monthly at the First Baptist Church in Galeton.

Showstoppers

A community club open to members of all ages and interests. The club focuses on horsemanship, with other projects including dairy, swine, rabbits, and photography. 

Start a new club

4-H is all about exploration! If you do not see a club that is the right fit, you can start a new club.

4-H Clubs require:

  • At least five youth from a minimum of two different families
  • An adult club leader serving as the point of contact with the 4-H Educator
  • A minimum of 2 screened adult volunteers
  • The ability to hold regular educational meetings
