4-H members from Potter County compete at the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show.

Last week, nine 4-H members from Potter County competed at the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. These members represented the Famous Wabbits and Seedsowers 4-H clubs and competed in a variety of areas, including livestock, photography, fiber arts, and woodworking. The Potter County 4-H program is extremely proud of their hard work and accomplishments with each of their projects this year!

Beth Brooks:  A member of the Seedsowers 4-H club, Beth has represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show for several years. She showcased several art pieces and a handmade quilt in the Family Living Department. Her quilt received 1st place and Best of Show.

Brielle Brooks:  A member of the Seedsowers 4-H club, Brielle has represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show for several years. She showcased a handmade bookmark and fiber art doll in the Family Living Department this year. Her doll received 1st place and Best of Show, and her bookmark received 2nd.

Braelyn Brooks:  A member of the Seedsowers 4-H club, Braelyn has previously represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show. She showcased a stuffed cow and handmade ornament in the Family Living Department this year, which both received 1st place.

Ayden Reese:  A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, Ayden has represented Potter County at the Farm Show for many years. He showcased many exhibits in the Family Living Department, including woodwork, material arts, and jewelry. His woodworking piece and clay sculpture received 1st; pet care kit, small wood furniture, potted herb, pencil drawing, and jewelry received 2nd; and candles and upcycled art piece received 3rd.

Lucille Rutkowski-Hood:  A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was her third year attending the PA Farm Show. She placed 5th with her 143 lb. Crossbred Market Lamb and placed 7th with her 257 lb. market swine in the Crossbred Division.

Harriet Rutkowski-Hood:  A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was her second year attending the PA Farm Show. She placed 5th with her 244 lb. market swine in the Crossbred Division and placed 4th with her 104 lb. Crossbred Market Lamb. She qualified for the Junior Market Livestock Sale on January 7th with both of her animals. Harriet also placed 10th in her Swine Showmanship class.  

Rhyatt Coffed:  A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was his third year attending the PA Farm Show with a market swine project. He placed 7th with his 248 lb. market hog in the Crossbred Division.

Rhyana Coffed:  A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was her first year attending the PA Farm Show with a market swine project. She placed 7th with her 256 lb. market hog in the Crossbred Division.

Austyn Wright:  A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was his first year attending the PA Farm Show with a market swine project. He placed 7th with his 249 lb. market hog in the Crossbred Division.
