Elizabeth Freeman and Dana Williams were selected to join the Pennsylvania 4-H Team Horse Power program after attending the New Member Training on April 5-7, 2024. During the training, both members participated in educational tours, leadership workshops, and team building with horse members from across the state.

As members of Team Horse Power, Dana and Elizabeth will work to present Horsemanship Skills programs, resources, and activities to members and volunteers in their communities. Team Horse Power members can also be seen assisting 4-H programs at the county and state levels with horse shows and in-person clinics designed to improve riding and handling skills.

Administered in Pennsylvania by Penn State Extension, 4-H is a nonformal educational youth development program of the United States Department of Agriculture that helps young people develop knowledge and skills to become capable, caring, and contributing citizens.
