We're highlighting Madison Conn of McKean County, who is a Leadership and Civic Engagement Ambassador this year.

One of our McKean County 4-H members, Madison Conn, was selected to be a State Project Ambassador for the 2022-23 4-H Program Year. Madison went through a rigorous application process and will proudly be the first McKean County 4-H member to hold this leadership position. The goal of the State Project Ambassador Program is to allow 4-H members from across PA to serve on the state’s program working groups to provide input and shape the 4-H Program. Youth voice is an essential component of 4-H, and we are proud that one of those voices will come from McKean County. Madison will be serving on the Leadership and Civic Engagement Working Group. When asked what she is most looking forward to about this opportunity, Madison replied, "I am looking forward to learning more about the 4-h community and having a bigger role in 4-h. I am also so excited to meet new people while also getting myself out there." Madison loves cows and is currently working on a dairy cattle and steer projects. She has been in 4-H for four years and appreciates the fact that 4-H pushes her out of her comfort zone and allows her to meet new people.
