Something for Everyone.
4‑H programs are grounded in the idea that kids learn best by doing. Hands-on projects include science, health, agriculture, and civic engagement.4-H in McKean County is available to youth ages 5-18. 4-H has several ways for youth to become involved with others and support their community. The most common way is a club program. We have Community Clubs that offer a variety of 4-H projects and meet once per month, Animal Clubs that specialize in raising different types of animals, Project Clubs that are specific to one project (such as Shooting Sports) and usually meet for a series of weeks, Summer Camps and School Enrichment projects.
