4-H Livestock Club Receives Donation From Corteva Agriscience

 "We are very thankful of this donation to make improvements to our educational exhibits for several local fairs and events. The funds helped to make the area more secure for animals as well as providing high quality educational posters about where food comes from. Many of the consumers in Lehigh County are far removed from the farm, so this opportunity helps area residents connect what they use and eat to the farm that produced it" said Lehigh County 4-H Educator Kelly Weisner.

There is no better place than 4-H for building the foundation of success. 4-H is a community of encouraging adults and welcoming kids who love to roll up their sleeves and learn by doing. 4-H families work, serve, and have fun together through all kinds of projects. 4-H youth participate in events and activities through clubs, in school-based and after school programs, and as individual members. The Lehigh County Livestock club welcomes youth who are interested in learning about beef, sheep, meat goats, and hogs. Youth do not need to own or have a livestock animal to join, just a desire to learn about livestock health and meat production.

Corteva makes contributions to community-based organizations on behalf of the company and employees. Consideration for outreach grants is given to communities where Corteva sales representatives, farmer dealers, employees, and customers live and work and those support quality-of-life initiatives to create an improved, sustainable lifestyle for people worldwide.
