When manure is exported from an operation with an Act 38 nutrient management plan for land application, the exporter is required to provide the importer with these informational items to enable the importer to best manage the imported manure.

The manure exporter is required to provide a complete Exported Manure Informational Packet to each importer that they export manure to. These packets provide information that enables the importer to best manage the imported manure.

The Exported Manure Informational Packet is furnished once to all importers of manure for land application at the time of the first manure transfer. Manure exporters should review with current importers the information received in previous packets. Only items not previously received by the importers need to be provided.
