What is the "Corner of the Garden" Program?"
The "Corner of the Garden" are a series of presentations led by Lebanon County Master Gardeners covering basic to advanced gardening skills following the gardening calendar. The presentations are a project of the Master Gardener program in Lebanon County, which is a component of the educational and outreach program of Penn State Cooperative Extension in Lebanon County and the College of Agricultural Sciences. We are open to suggestions on topics as seek to serve the needs of gardens in the area.
4-Square Garden
A German style demonstration garden demonstrating gardening styles and techniques
The 4-square garden is located behind the Agricultural Center located at 2120 Cornwall Road, Lebanon PA. It hosts a wide variety of permanent plantings including roses, ornamental grasses, perennials, pollinator friendly, tree fruit and small fruit. The four squares rotate yearly and host vegetable, herbal, annual, and children's garden.
