Celebrate National Pollinator Month in June with the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County! Discover how to transform your outdoor space into a vibrant haven for pollinators at the Creating a Pollinator Garden hands-on workshop on Saturday, June 14.

Celebrate National Pollinator Month!
The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Penn State Extension office in Cumberland County, located at 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
The program begins with a brief introduction to soil testing, followed by an engaging presentation on planting pollinator-friendly gardens using native plants that attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Participants will explore how to choose and care for plants that support local wildlife while adding seasonal beauty to their gardens. After a guided tour of the Allen Road Pollinator Garden, attendees will create their own pollinator container garden using a provided 14-inch container, potting soil, and a curated selection of nectar and larval host plants—including annuals and herbs—designed to foster a thriving mini habitat all season long.
Register for $15 by Thursday, June 12, online at Creating a Pollinator Garden Workshop or call Penn State Extension Registration Services toll-free at 1-877-345-0691.
