Activities designed to teach children about nature, animals, art, music, food, and health.

Sullivan County Clubs

The majority of our clubs are project clubs which means they focus on one area of interest. This means your child may join more than one club if they have multiple topics spark their interest. The Livestock Club is our only community club. It incorporates all livestock project areas and gardening into one club. We have a few clubs that meet year-round, but most of our clubs meet during the summer months to avoid busy school schedules. The cost of participating in 4-H will depend on what project your child chooses to take. Each club determines any additional cost to the member such as dues, or the cost of the project supplies. Any child that participates in the Trail Trotters Horse and Pony Club will have to pay the $25.00 horse enrollment fee.

Start a new club

4-H is all about exploration! If you do not see a project or a club that looks like the right fit, you can start a new club.

4-H Clubs require:

  • At least 5 youth (from at least two families)
  • An adult club leader as point of contact with the 4-H Educator
  • A minimum of 2 screened adult volunteers
  • Hold regular educational meetings

Contact your county 4-H educator to discuss the process of developing a new club.
