During the 2021 Beaver Community Fair, the Snyder County 4-H Foundation awarded the 2020 and 2021 Friend of 4-H Awards to Rusty Kauffman, Kauffman's TV and Repair, Beavertown and The Lauver Family, Selinsgrove.

Members of the Snyder County 4-H Foundation recognized our 2020 and 2021 Friend of 4-H Awardees.

Receiving the 2020 award was Kauffman’s TV and Repair. Owner, Rusty Kauffman is a constant behind the scenes figure at the fairgrounds, providing support in many ways, he has helped to keep the communication flowing, advanced our technology, and supported our youth during the Livestock Sale.

The 2021 award was given in memory of Roger Lauver. As a continual supporter of the Snyder County 4-H program for many year, Roger was a leader of the sheep club, he would give animals to children to raise and exhibit at fair, and year after year had been an auctioneer and buyer during sale night.

Their dedication to the youth of our county and support of agriculture over the years made both these awardees a perfect example of why they are deserving of this recognition.
