Explore different opportunities available throughout the 4-H project year.

Day Camps
Have fun this summer with our Pike County Day Camps! These fun, short-term programs expose youth to a variety of project areas and experiences. They run throughout the summer and content change every year. They are open to all area youth, and you do not need to be a traditional club member to participate.
School Enrichment Programs
4-H School Enrichment projects are designed to enhance classroom education with experience-based learning. Classroom-ready projects teach life skills as well as specific subject matter, such as Embryology Electricity, Invasive Species, Rocketry, and Watershed Education.
Project lessons are offered in schools (or in other community locations for home school families) by Extension staff and utilize our 4-H research-based curricula. Some programs may have a nominal fee for curriculum materials.
If you are an educator interested in enhancing your curriculum or a home school parent in need of educational requirements, please contact our office to discuss how 4-H can work in your classroom.
For a short description of each program and the suggested grade levels, please see the 4-H School Enrichment Projects.
Not all projects are available in Pike County, but if you are an educator and would like more information contact the Extension Office to work with our 4-H/Youth Development Coordinator.
4-H Special Interest Programs
Special interest programs are short term programs that are open to all youth, not just traditional club members. They are a great way to engage in 4-H programming without a long-term commitment or to enhance your total 4-H experience as a club member. Check this page often for new and exciting opportunities!
Stream Team
Want to know more about your watershed? Have access to a stream or creek? Consider hosting a Stream Team Project.

Students will learn about the water cycle, chemical and physical properties of water, macroinvertebrates, local watersheds, water conservation, and Riparian Buffers. Contact the office for further details and to schedule a session.
