Congratulations to everyone who was recognized at the 2021 Recognition Reception for their hard work during this past 4-H year!

The 2021 Crawford County 4-H Recognition Reception was held on Tuesday, November 23rd at New Beginnings Church. Here's a recap of some of the top honors:

  • The 2022 Outstanding 4-H’er Award was presented to Landis Crawford and Abigail Mozina.  Congratulations to both members!  They will attend National 4-H Congress in 2022 as a result of receiving this prestigious award.
  • The Friend of 4-H Award was awarded to Wanda Braymer, a former Crawford County 4-H Educator and current family living resource volunteer for the past 10 years. Congrats Wanda and thank you for your dedication to 4-H!
  • Wanda Braymer, Kris Gosnell, and Lexie Hyde will be new members of the 4-H Program Development Committee.  Jill Meszaros will remain for a second term. Kendall Craft, Hannah Lyons, Hazel Peel, and Ayla Riemann will be youth representatives for the year.  Thank you to the outgoing members, Phyllis Carr, Stephanie Wanker, and Walter Clark. Thank you to all of the Program Development Committee members who volunteer their time to make our program a strong and successful one! 
  • Jill Meszaros was honored by both Crawford County and Pennsylvania State 4-H as she was selected as the state winner of the 2021 Clover Award, an award presented to either a volunteer or Penn State staff member external to 4-H each year.

Congratulations to each and every member and volunteer who was honored at Recognition Night!  A big thank you to the Program Development Committee for helping out with the event!
